The biggest crowd the stadium has ever held came for music, not sport: Ed Sheeran's 2023 concert drew 80,058, edging past the 76,976 that WrestleMania 31 packed in back in 2015.
VTA light rail stops right outside the stadium, and Caltrain plus the regional train network link San Francisco and San Jose; most fans still arrive by car or ride-hail across the freeway-laced valley.
Traveller's tip: the stadium sits in Santa Clara, not San Francisco proper - the city centre is roughly 70 km (45 mi) north, so allow real travel time.
